The Ring Pulses standardising circuits

The panels in the lower half of the R rack hold the circuits for standardising the selected pulse sequences from the Thyratron rings to standard voltage and time.

These circuits are very similar to those for the data channels from the paper tape reader. However because the output pulses from the rings last for the complete interval between sprocket pulses the sample and hold circuit is not needed on the input. The formation of the delta is the same as that for the data.

Because fewer valves are required, circuits for both K and S patterns are on each of the five panels.
